I've got some great stuff that's been happening recently, and by recently, I mean... some few hours ago, or just a day or two ago. Yeah.
One, I'm falling in love with Fireflight again. It's amazing, since I haven't downloaded any songs from them in months. Stand Up and The Love we had Before are new obsessions, along with Liar, Star of the Show, Brand New Day, and so many. My friends Mishka, Dia, and Annetta (as I've mentioned in the previous post) introduced me to this awesome band, and they get credit, because I wouldn't have loved the band or loved any other Christian rock music aside from Jars of Clay ever again. Kidding, naturally.
Two, since Fireflight songs have been the epitome of inspiration for me in the past few days, I've got inspiration to finally work on my new comic, H.U.S.H., and already, I have a plot, characters, and half a dialogue already written out! Thank God for Fireflight!
H.U.S.H is all about this assassin organization called H.U.S.H ruled by a menacing crime boss (also named HUSH, because he is vain like that) who sent his whole team out to kill a whole troop of people and is planning to use his new cronies as his robots, his army, and for the domination of the world. In a battle between the H.U.S.H organization and another team of exterminators, the entire team dies. But the underdog of the whole team, Jet Armie, is brought to life by HUSH's dead pet fish, Watson. Watson, in granting Jet resurrection, trains her to save the world from HUSH's evil plans. And the rest of the story comes from there, no big. That's how I at least make the picture out. I'm both drawing and writing my comic, so it'll take sometime before I make an issue... haha, I talk like Gerard Way when I think of making it into an actual issue...
...you believe I could actually MAKE it into an actual issue, could I?
I mean, if I had an appropriate age, if my story was great, if the drawings were awesome too...right? No?
Yeah, I'll keep on dreaming.
And another, I just watched another fantabulouso episode of American Idol a while ago, and I'm already psyched for what I could expect. Adam Lambert from the San Francisco auditions is my best bet already, I'm really impressed by him. He's like a more contemporary David Cook, and I like his subtlety. Danny Gokey, from the Kansas auditions who lost his wife? That guy can sing, definitely. I adore that guy, how strong he is from all the grief of losing his wife, and his pal Jamar Rogers, is awesome. He's got a really big heart for helping his best friend through it all. They're all really great.
Of course there are girls whom I love too. Lil Rounds seemed a little bit ticked today, but nonetheless she did it brilliantly. She definitely has a shine about her, an eminence about her which stands out from all the rest. But sometimes her consistence can shut off a bit. I would understand if she were sick or something, and I don't know what made her go a little bit off today, but wonderful, nonetheless. The punk rocker girl Emily? I think I'd be in love with her. Though, it wasn't much a smart move playing with her audition, changing the song at its last minute, but it just shows her versatility, makes her even more likeable.
I'm still sickened by Bikini Girl, though. Guys may love her, let's just say even if I were a guy, I'd be repulsed beyond my wits. I was borderlining upset at Simon for allowing her through. Seriously, I expected better. Goodness.
And I've been informed that this Sunday, plans will be swapped and pasted and torn and re-snapped together, but I'm pretty happy with what may be the result. I'm just happy I'll see my old friends again, and we'll do stuff again.
And if anyone reading this blog has seen Desolation Row yet? As in the MCR cover video?
Mhmm, BEST VIDEO EVER.
